His name is Ali.
— Ali is also getting used to us. He is Moroccan.
Lisa can't stop thinking about the empty place at her old school and has to try hard not to start crying.
It's a good thing the teacher doesn't ask her anything and leaves her alone all morning.
On the way home he feels scared and runs away as quickly as he can. Suddenly, Ali appears next to her.
- Where do you live? — he asks.
— On Rua da Montanha, in the yellow building, on the fifth floor.
Lisa learned the address by heart.
— So we're neighbors — says Ali, laughing.
Lisa doesn't say anything and Ali doesn't care about it.
When you open the door to your house, Bali, the cat, comes to meet you. He starts to rub himself against his legs and whine.
— He's also trying to get used to the new place — says his mother.

The lion and the mouse
One day, a Lion was taking a nap when a little mouse started running over him. The Lion woke up, put his paw on it, opened its mouth and prepared to swallow it.
- Forgive me! – shouted the little mouse – Forgive me this time and I will never forget you. Who knows if one day you won't need me?
The Lion was so amused by this idea that he raised his paw and let him go.
Days later the Lion fell into a trap. As the hunters wanted to offer him alive to the King, they tied him to a tree and set out looking for a way to transport him.
Then the little mouse appeared. Seeing the sad situation in which the Lion found himself, he gnawed at the ropes that held him.
And that's how a tiny mouse saved the King of Animals.

The proud rose
Once upon a time there was a rose who was very proud of her beauty. The only disappointment she had in life was that she grew up right next to an ugly cactus. Every day, this rose insulted the poor cactus that remained silent.
All the other plants in that garden tried to make the rose better, but she let herself be carried away by her good looks and never changed.
One day, in the summer, the well in the garden ran dry, and then there was no water to support the plants. The rose began to wither, but he saw that a small bird was drinking from the water that was in the cactus.
Very embarrassed, the rose asked the cactus if she could also have some of that water. And the cactus, who was very kind, promptly responded to the request and they became friends.
Rosa then understood that there was no point in being beautiful on the outside, when there was nothing inside. Well, the cactus, despite being ugly, had something very valuable inside it.

The bird's song
A very mischievous little girl always got hurt in the middle of her games.
One day while riding a bicycle, he quickly went over a bump and fell, and then he asked himself: – Where is God who doesn't save me from falling? When she asked, a bird sang and that made the girl happy!
Another day, the little girl playing tag, fell and scraped her knee, and asked herself again: – Where is God, who lets me fall and hurt?
The little bird that was in the tree soon sang and the girl was happy once again! And so, the little girl realized that God was present everywhere, and that the birdsong represented God in the little things, and in the joy of living.
The girl also realized that God could not always free her from everything, but that he could lift her up with joy and faith to continue forward.
